I wanna play Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones (third installment in the current saga) but I have too many things to do and to be honest, I was so turned off by Prince of Persia: The Warrior Within (second installment). The stories are connected so...hmm, I dunno. What should I do? Buy God of War?

Ah, before I forget. Thanks to the people who came to celebrate my birthday. That was a blast! We should do it again. [info]timewaster, [info]underthemoon, [info]innocentlyjaded are awesome singers! And [info]traffic_likeme even sang Black Bird. Next time though, dude, we'll ascertain the schedule of LRT. Sorry talaga!

but... they say that the third has Farrah (from the first one) in it and that there's not a singe note of Godsmack in it. :P
That I haven't read. What I do know though is that it picks up from The Warrior Within with the Prince having the Empress of Time as his lover. (And they say that won't make sense unless you got the alternate ending for The Warrior Within) ??? But I'd really rather see Farrah than that Amazon.
well.. it opens with the girl from warrior within killing herself, and i saw a trailer where he hooks up again with farrah. farrah, of course, not having any idea who he is, shoots him with arrows
Ah, I see. I only knew what I did from browsing through the review in Gamespot. It's good to hear that there's no Godsmack in it. I have no bones with them being a band but The Warrior Within just lost all its charm to me with its "pa-astig" shit.
I only know what i know from reading IGN reviews and previews XP

I'm really really wishing that it's more like the first game and far far from the second game.

yeah the pa-astig shit sorta turned me off too
Blame it on the series' being transferred to the Canadian team for Warrior Within.
Here's the gamespot review.

I take it you weren't able to stomach the second installment either. From what I have played (and abandoned) so far, the level design's still tight, combat was expanded, controls are the same but it's very hard to connect the atmosphere with the The Sands of Time.
Anyway, have you played God of War? I haven't tried it yet because my PS2's mod chip is dated so I'm not sure if the pirated DVD version would work on it.
i think it was the metal bikini thong that got to me. penny arcade did a good description of it.

nope... haven't played through much of god of war, just 20 minutes at a rental.
Hey Man!

I'm alive, if that's what you're worried about last Saturday. Hehe.

I'm still consolidating my thoughts and I might make a post of my experience that night. I crossed the friggin' Cubao overpass. It was so dark but the overpass was PACKED with... umm... DARK people if you know what I mean.

*shivers*

See ya at Lisa's this coming Saturday. Something to look forward to...

^_^
Ha, ang tagal ko na di pumupunta ng Cubao e! Though I've been meaning to raid the National Cubao branch for some time now. Some stuff there.

Definitely. Dalhin mo GC? O ako? Basta ikaw magdala ng Mario Kart - na nasa LOOB ng case. Joke lang!
Lighten up.
